This page contains information on the location and stats for the Viper Witcher Gear that can be acquired during the Hearts of Stone expansion in The Witcher 3.
These items are only available for high-level players during story missions of the Hearts of Stone expansion. The armor diagrams can be purchased during the auction in the mission Open Sesame!, while the Steel Sword diagram can be found in Borsodi's vault at the end of that quest. The Venomous Silver Sword can only be found during the final main quest of the expansion, Whatsoever a Man Soweth - to find it, the player must choose to help Olgeird von Everec.

Viper Armor
The diagrams needed to craft the advanced Viper Gear can only be purchased from Countess Mignole at Borsodi’s Auction House during the main Hearts of Stone quest Open Sesame. Each diagram costs $295 Crowns, totalling $1,180 Crowns for all four. She also has several bomb and decotion recipes available for sale, but those can be discovered elsewhere.
Venomous Viper Steel Sword
The diagram for this powerful weapon can only be discovered while inside the vault beneath the Borsodi auction house during the Hearts of Stone quest Open Sesame. Behind the table that holds the House of Maximillian Borsodi - the diagram can be found in the chest on the left.
Venomous Viper Silver Sword
This deadly blade can only be discovered during the final main quest of Hearts of Stone, Whatsoever a Man Soweth. To find it, Geralt must choose to help Olgeird von Everec before Gaunter O’Dimm can collect his debt.
Once inside the riddle, follow the central path under the archway then head to the left at the fork. Move up the path towards the red glow and defeat the Spectre who appears, then climb onto the ruined stairs to collect the sword from the stone.
