Ciri’s Story: The Race is a super easy and short quest.

The Bloody Baron and Ciri have made a wager. Ciri wants the baron’s prized steed, while the baron wants Ciri’s sword. To decide who gets what, they decide to race.

The race is supereasy to win. It starts with a countdown. All you have to do is spur the horse the whole way and gallop down the yellow path on your mini map. Don't worry about your horses' stamina. The race will be finished before the horses stamina is out. Anyways, even if you win or lose, the race is interrupted by a giant Basilisk.

Now if you have completed the main quest “Ladies of the Wood,” Ciri’s next mission “Ciri's Story: Out of the Shadows” will begin right away. If not, the baron wants a full report on his wife and won’t finish the story until you deliver the other end of your deal. To hunt down his wife Anna, start with the quest “Hunting a Witch.” A few quests later you will be able to begin “Ladies of the Wood.”
