The Witcher 3 contains troves of Secret Treasure throughout the lands of Temeria, Velen, Novigrad and beyond. Unlike Hidden Treasure, these areas aren't always marked on the map, and are instead found in secluded areas, behind barred doors, or hard to reach areas.

White Orchard Secret Treasure

You'll find secret treasure hidden in a variety of locales in White Orchard. 

Nilfgaardian Outpost Secret Treasure

This secret treasure can be found at the entrance to the Nilfgaardian Garrison. At the top of the stairs, before the gate, turn around and look at the broken bridge spanning the water. Take a running leap across to the next section and look for a chest full of valuables.

The other secret in this area is through the door as you enter the garrison. Notice the locked gate on the far side? Head right from it and jump through a destroyed window onto a small path on the opposite side. From here look at the wall where the locked gate led to. You can use the Aard Sign to blow up a hole that you can jump through (watch the ledge!) From here, you'll find some containers and a corpse with loot, along with a key to unlock the gate back to the garrison.

Underwater Secret Treasure

There are three sets of secret treasures beneath the river that runs North of White Orchard. Start from the wooden bridge and head south, where you'll find the first chest by a large rock.

The next chest is just a bit further Southeast, as you continue swimming along the river, you'll spot the chest in the middle of the riverbank.

The last chest is closer to the shore, and a bit higher up behind a rock, as you continue swimming East.

Cackler Bridge Secret Treasure

As you find the signpost to Cackler Bridge, you'll find that the gate is shut from the side the bridge is on, requiring a lengthy treck down the far ridge, across the small stream, and back up to the other side. You can open up the gate from this side, as well as finding some loot for your trouble.

If you decide to follow the stream towards the underside of the bridge, you can find a small waterfall with a corpse and some loot to reward your inquisitive nature.

Velen Secret Treasure

Mulbrydale Secret Treasure

Mulbrydale might be a small village with not much to it - but it does have some good chests not found on any map.

Look along the southern part of the villge for a broken looking shack with a barred door. Bust it down with Aard and help yourself to the chests, but also look in the next room to find a hidden cellar with even more great chests - including some with books.

There's one more barred house, on the western end, and the place looks like it has fallen in. Bust this one open too with Aard, where you can find two chests, one on both sides of the house.

Crow's Perch Secret Treasure

Crow's Nest is a big area, and the Baron's residence has a lot of loot to find - but the best chests are hidden. Start by going left of the Quartermaster and up the ladder. Climb to the top of the building and jump to climb into the room on the top of the building. Some sort of murder took place here - but what is more important is all the good loot! You can also find more loot on the other side of the roof.

Moving on, head into the inner courtyard and go left towards some wooden stairs leading into a ruined tower. You can go up the broken stairs on the left to find some bags at the top, but better loot awaits at the bottom among the grass at the base.

There's even more treasure to be found among the stables just ahead of the fallen tower. Enter the stables from above by climbing the ladder, and grab the loot from the chests and containers in the loft, then work your way down.

Finally, check the garden you first meet the Baron in, on the wall is a large well thats empty, save for a ladder straight down into a large expansive cave. The cave is free of enemies thankfully, but its full of treasure!

There are several items and chests you can find on the ground at the base of the cave, with two more great loot-filled chests in the pool of water. You can even take a path around the side to find a hidden exit out to the moat surrounding the town.

Abandoned Tower Secret Treasure

While there doesn't seem to be any way to enter the Abandoned Tower, there is a way to scale it to find some secret chests. Start by trying your best to climb the side of the tower the crumbling wall is built on. When you reach a window on the right side, jump up on the stone slab and propell yourself to the ledge above. If you get the right jump, you'll be able to climb to an upper platform with two chests full of good loot!

LORNRUK SECRET TREASURE

   

Lornruk Castle is located at the north of Heatherton. When you reach there, the drawbridge is up and a wyvern is guarding it. The wyvern is level 14 and you should fight it before entering the castle. To enter the castle, you can jump into the water and go into an underwater tunnel, or make a running leap and glitch on the right side of the bridge, then climb up the wall. Below is a video of how to get in. Climb to the top to find a body with nice loots. Also there are other chests lying around.

HEATHERtON SECRET TREASURE

   

From the Heatherton signpost, open the map and follow the road going northwards, not the one going northwest. You will find a ruin and in the centre is a chest. Below is the video of the location.

oxenfurt SECRET TREASURE

  

Go under the main bridge of Oxenfurt from the shore opposite of the city and head to the first pillar. On the right side, there will be one chest. 

  

After that, hug the pillar and find another chest submerged in the water.

  

Next place is under the bridge on the southside of Oxenfurt. Dive under water to find a chest below.

  

From there, swim up to the shoreline of the tiny city island to find the next chest there.

Novigrad Secret Treasure

Novigrad docks SECRET TREASURE

  

At the south side of Novigrad is the docks. From the signpost, head west and turn into the first open warehouse door. Once you step in, look to your right for a shelf. Go to the shelf and climb up. Now turn around slowly, then jump across to get to the chest.

  

Jump down and head towards the other end of the warehouse with a wooden wall on the right. There is a chest behind it.

  

From here, go back and face the same wooden wall and climb from the left side. The right side will leave you no room to move due to a low ceiling.

  

Once you got up, make your way to the chest in front.
