贝赛斯达宣布《辐射 4》将会登陆 PS5 与 Xbox Series X|S，官方将在明年推出次世代更新。

作为《辐射》系列 25 周年的庆祝活动，贝赛斯达在官网上的文中宣布，这个玩家等待已久的免费更新同样也会登陆 PC 平台。

自从《辐射 4》第一次推出以来已经八年了，这次更新包括更高帧率的性能模式，4K 画质的品质模式，加上修复 bug 等。

开发商并没有透露《辐射 4》次世代更新的具体公布时间或时间表，也没有给出完整的功能清单，但很有可能会加入针对不同主机平台的功能更新，像是利用 PS5 的触觉反馈等。

这也是官方目前为止公布的唯一《辐射》更新内容，下一个《辐射》新作可能还得等上好几年。因为贝赛斯达曾透露在《上古卷轴 6》之后才会推出，而《上古卷轴》新作还排在 2023 年的《星域》之后。
