After Pankration, Judge, Jury, Executioner, and The Conqueror have been completed, return to the Spartan kings to reclaim Spartan citizenship and the family home. Several decisions that have been made along the way will come into play in this mission. Beware of spoilers!

Part of returning to Sparta was to uncover the cultist king. In this mission, he will be revealed through clues gathered in the last three questlines.

Return to the temple where the king's throne room resides in Sparta and speak to Myrrine. This will be the last chance to gather more proof. Moving forward with the conversation, Myrrine will mention she's bringing in the Ephors, who hold more power than the kings.

Once this conversation has concluded, a cutscene with the kings will begin and flow into a conversation. Tell the kings of your successes. After reviewing what good has been done, the kings will question why the ephors were called.

Pausanias is the cultist.

If Lagos was killed in Judge, Jury, Executioner, there will not be enough evidence and the player will be exiled from Sparta--guards will be hostile in Sparta.

If Lagos was convinced to leave the cult in Judge, Jury, Executioner, there should be enough evidence to accuse him and have him exiled from Sparta.

End of the day, it doesn't matter to the success of the quest of if there is proof or not--Pausanias will be revealed as the cultist. The difference is where he will be found to be assassinated. If he is exiled, he will be along the road. If the player is exiled, he will remain in Sparta. Because of this discrepancy in his location, we recommend using guided mode for this mission.

Pausanias isn't a special enemy. He's just like every other cultist and relatively simple to take down. Dodge his attacks, parry to create openings and go in for close-quarters abilities when possible. Confirm the kill, and the next leg of the mission should begin.

Should the player be exiled, return to the throne room and confront the other Spartan king, Archidamos. Killing him will provide undeniable proof that he is a cultist that will be used in the conversation. Soon that conversation will end, and a scene between Myrrine and the player will begin in their family home.

After a brief reflection on the past, Brasidas will enter and mention Pylos is under attack and Deimos is there. Choose whichever option you please regarding Deimos, and the mission will come to an end.
